We went to a Hornets game on Saturday night, which was the kids' first time. I didn't have any Hornets gear for them to wear, and of course, I have to be festive, so I whipped up this bow for Avery. She wore it with just a simple bright yellow top, but it will match any Hornets gear you have! Super cute! Of course we are big LSU Tigers fans, so you'll probably be seeing my purple and gold bows soon :)

Bright Summer Colors and Spring Clippies!
These are large bows with summer colors that I just love! They are apple green with aqua dot middle, aqua blue with orange dot middle, and hot pink with apple green dot middle. So cute with sundresses! They are $8.00.
These are clippies with spring colors that are great for infants, or even for little girls whose hair is perpetually in their face (like my Avery!) They are $4.00 for a set of 4.

Same Monogram
I've also posted a link below to a friend's blog...her business is called Same Monogram. She makes the most adorable appliqued and monogrammed shirts! And if you see something you would like to order from her, come see me and we can make a bow to match! You can also post your already monogrammed or personalized items to sell to others with the same name. Check it out!!!

Color Charts
I have posted my color charts for solids and dots at the right...if you are interested in a specific color for a bow, please check it out! I know they are a little small, but if you visit the website http://www.theribbonretreat.com/ and on the left, click on "Grosgrain-Schiff", you can view the colors I use for my bows. There are also lots of cute patterns, stripes, and dots to choose from, so if you see a ribbon you like, let me know and I can make you a bow from it! I am also currently working on crochet hats, headbands, and clippies in the coming months, so stay tuned!

Here are some bows I've been working on for Avery...they are 7-8" bows made with 2 1/4" ribbon (I consider them my "large" bows!) The solids are $8.00, the bows with double ribbon (such as the Mardi Gras bow seen here) are $10.00. I can also make x-large bows with 3" ribbon (not shown)...they are $12.00. I can custom make them to match any dress or outfit you may have...for example, the red/black and white polka dot bow seen here is one I made to match a couple of Gymboree outfits Avery had from the "Holiday Panda" collection. Yes, my daughter is quite the "fashion plate" as her preschool teacher calls her!

Hello!
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, and this is my new blog...yippee? I'm so new to this blog thing, so getting the hang of it might take a while, since I am definitely technologically challenged. I am based out of Baton Rouge, LA. I love making cute hair bows for my 4-year-old little girl, Avery. When I started staying home with her, things got a little financially "tight", and so I decided to learn to make her hair bows (since these things can get expensive). And since I am definitely not the greatest seamstress in the world (but I am learning!), bows came pretty easy to me! People started to ask about Avery's bows, and so I started taking orders from friends. And these friends (and my wonderful husband) suggested I start making and selling them...so here I am! I will be posting pics of some of the bows I make...I am new to the bow business and ultra-new to the blog business, so bear with me while I get the hang of it! Hope you enjoy it!
